Head in the stars...
At the end of the year, we contributed to the patients' well-being through the decoration of Golden Roses, a residential facility for people with brain injuries (who have suffered severe head trauma) located in Creil.
To brighten their daily lives, we've created a poetic setting that invites you to escape.
Expectations
This Specialist Residential Home (MAS) was all white, without a single touch of colour. However, we know that white attracts depression, whereas colours stimulate and promote interactivity. Khors and so called upon our Space Design department to create a warm atmosphere for the residents of this establishment Coallia.
Inspired by the 6 life units named after constellations, we have imagined a starry night atmosphere: ART AND STARS, a celestial fusion. Enchanting settings, pastel colours in a watercolour-inspired decor, embellished with sparkling stars…
A soothing universe for a re-enchanted everyday life
We have carefully selected materials, favouring eco-responsible supports in soft tones and a matt finish to avoid triggering cognitive disorders in certain patients. Soothing blue hues and elegant frames made from natural oak mouldings create a real cocoon.
The space benefits from a significant ceiling height and long walls. To avoid a cold and imposing atmosphere, we proposed recreating a starry sky on two panoramic canvases to adorn the walls and create a sense of closeness for patients in wheelchairs. Printed in our Print workshop, they were skillfully installed on the curved walls by our in-house installation team.
This project was very important to us, so we acted with great speed to ensure residents could celebrate Christmas in full colour.
