Tribute to a free and bold actress
Forty years after the disappearance of Romy Schneider, the Paris Cinematheque trace the artist's life through an exhibition to discover until 31 July 2022.
This retrospective highlights the journey of this 16-year-old Austrian girl who took charge of her destiny as an actress and, throughout her career, knew how to go where she wasn't expected, always surprise, reinvent herself and surround herself with the greatest.
It notably features many filming clichés, letters, and a few objects.
The Cinémathèque commissioned Volume Agencement to specially create this entirely new exhibition.
Expectations
To showcase the exhibited works, we manufactured and installed all the sets designed by Perrine Villemur, Antoine Fontaine, and Christian Marti: display walls, plinths, false windows, wall panels, bespoke canopy structure, benches, and carpet discs.
Following on from our eco-conscious approach, the plywood panels with a solid local pine wood frame will be reused for future exhibitions.
