On the occasion of PARIS 2024, the Pantheon becomes a place to celebrate the history of Paralympic athletes. « Paralympic Stories: From Sporting Integration to Social Inclusion (1948-2024) »Retrace the evolution of Paralympic sport and its impact on the perception of disabled people in society.
Atelier Deltaèdre has entrusted us with the creation of the sets and signage for this unprecedented exhibition, which highlights the history of this fight for emancipation and equality, from the first Paralympic Games organised in 1960 in Rome, Italy, to this year of hosting the Games in France.
Expectations
From the scenography imagined by Atelier Deltaèdre, We have issued technical recommendations to propose the most suitable large-format displays to showcase the achievements of personalities and athletes who have worked towards the recognition of Paralympic sport.
Particular attention was paid to the quality of the productions, with the printing of the sets ensuring perfect emphasis on each scenic detail, and their arrangement within this historic site of remembrance.
Our main challenge: reconstructing an athletics track in this magnificent setting using linoleum printed in our workshops, the installation of which on a 6-meter high wall required all the skill of our in-house fitters.
This exhibition in a historic monument stands out for its staging, designed to be accessible to all audiences, including people with disabilities. Seating consultation stations, tactile drawings, objects to touch, as well as braille and large print content are incorporated to ensure a multi-sensory experience. Audiovisual content is subtitled and videos in French and international Sign Language are available.
The inclusion of people with disabilities is a subject that is particularly close to our hearts at Exhibit Group.
