Decor to enhance the employee experience
Ode to Movement
A client from the private tertiary sector has commissioned the decorative programming of a 2,000 m² floor.2 to our Space Design department. To bring the employee experience to life through inspiring decor, we proposed movement as the connecting theme.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed imagining a decorative concept on this exciting theme. Our creation invites the discovery of movement through dance using elements that celebrate the body, space, time, energy, and relationships.
Expectations
Our client asked us to devise an original decorative scheme to dress the second floor of their headquarters. The aim was to create an inspiring atmosphere to provide a strong employee experience.
We worked on the theme of movement by offering scenery inspired by dance, which involves the interaction and cohesion of people. With dynamic graphics and vibrant colours, we highlight the movement that is at the heart of this living art form.
True to our vision of space design serving the well-being of employees, we have created an inspiring decor that fosters creativity, energy, and serenity.
A luminous gradient and geometric shapes in the agile working space, bright colours in the lounge, pastel tones, a soft, soothing curve in the relaxation area… each zone has been designed to create a specific atmosphere.
In the collaborative space, a panoramic wall is dedicated to the theme of vibration. This represents both the movement of sound and the energy of music and dance. The dancer leaps, leaving her mark through the vibrations created by her choreography.
Classical or contemporary dance? Both styles are celebrated across two interactive walls. Employees can spin the dancer's wheel (made of honeycomb cardboard mounted on a rotating platform) to liven up their space.
To welcome teams into the quiet zone, we have proposed a modern graphic design with soothing tones.
We have selected a variety of materials to play on contrasts and add depth through mirror Dibond lettering & silhouettes, Plexiglas panels on standoffs, as well as a selective varnish print.
We have created an original table made up of a duplicated dancer silhouette to suggest multiplied movement. Our mirror print on Makrolon plays with transparency, thus bringing lightness to the whole.
A series of paintings and dancer silhouettes printed on Plexiglas with spacers and mirror Dibond adorn the corridors.
In terms of signage, we played on the two-way flow of traffic in the reception area outside the lifts by printing the floor number in black against a vibrant graphic pattern on one side, and the reverse on the other.
In total, nearly 240 m2 Sets have been produced in our Parisian workshops and installed in less than 2 days by our integrated installation team.
