A decoration in its city's image
Our client, a large insurance company, is opening its new offices, «Les Ateliers d'Angers", in an 8-storey building classified E+C- (Positive Energy and Carbon Reduction Building).
Its aim is to welcome its employees into a functional, welcoming and warm environment, exclusively designed for their well-being. A green and dynamic environment, reflecting the image of Angers, elected the most pleasant city in France in 2022 by the ranking of the Association of Cities and Villages where life is good.
It is with this in mind that we have imagined a personalised and collaborative space.
Expectations
"That each employee feels good both in their city and in their professional environment, that they are proud of it": such is the wish of our client... and ours!
We proposed an original creation to our client that celebrates the beauty of the city of Angers (its city centre, its monuments and its surroundings) with plants as the common theme.
So we came up with set designs using a colour palette inspired by nature, the seasons and the flora found in the nature reserves along the Loire.
To showcase the city's beauty, we did not hesitate to blend graphics and photography. We played with a multitude of materials, paying particular attention to eco-responsible supports, in connection with the E+C- label.
Focus on the supports
We have selected specific materials to best adapt our creations to different collaborative spaces (reception, common areas, offices, meeting rooms, etc.).
The wall frescoes and gradients have primarily been printed on PVC-free materials, with photos of Angers printed on PMMA mounted on spacers.
To personalise the spaces, we also suggested to our client that we create original decorative elements: decorative panels printed on OSB, relief pictures cut from wood, signage elements in mirrored and wooden Dibond, a vine leaf and a log printed on a mirror...
Vineyards are in the spotlight with mirror-finished bunches of grapes... and corks!
And for the finishing touch, we've created a bookshelf around a stabilised tree, and a shelf adorned with a PMMA cutout representing the Angers skyline.
The result?
Design, production and installation of 600 m² of decor, including 350 m² of wall coverings and 200 m² of window graphics, to decorate offices and meeting rooms with a touch of nature while preserving the privacy of the spaces.
A project that has materialised in stages, thanks to a serious and experienced methodology, and the synergy of a professional team of passionate individuals!
