What is print lamination?

Lamination is a process that consists of applying a protective film to a print, whether on paper, PVC or any other substrate. This film reinforces the visual's resistance to external aggressions such as scratches, humidity, UV or mechanical damage. Matt finishes are particularly recommended for prints where elegance and discretion are required, such as indoor spaces, museums, galleries or offices. They reduce reflections and improve legibility from different angles. Gloss finishes, on the other hand, give a sparkle that accentuates colours and details, perfect for attracting attention at the point of sale, signage or advertising displays.

Anti-graffiti lamination is ideal for media exposed to intensive use or urban environments, where the risk of vandalism is high. This special film protects prints while making them easy to clean and maintain, guaranteeing increased durability.
