FAQ - Printing advertising sails: the medium that combines lightness and visibility

What is advertising sail printing?

Printing on advertising sail consists of personalising a very light fabric, often a polyester mesh, to create flexible, airy and visually striking visuals. This type of fabric is designed to let air pass through while offering good visual hold, making it an ideal solution for outdoor use, even in windy conditions.

Veil is generally used for flags, banners or hanging kakemonos, particularly at trade fairs, sporting events, promotional campaigns or point-of-sale visibility operations. Thanks to the sublimation printing technique, it produces vivid, resistant colours, even on such a thin, mobile material.

Window graphics are particularly well suited to areas where visual communication needs to be both effective and elegant. It is a natural choice for shop windows, offices, reception halls and glass surfaces in public and private spaces. It can be used to create a variety of effects, from subtle decoration to visual protection or to highlight advertising messages. It can also be adapted to meet privacy requirements by offering obscuring or frosted films that preserve privacy while remaining aesthetically pleasing.

The films can be applied indoors or outdoors, depending on the materials chosen, and can be cut to size to perfectly match the shape and size of the glass surfaces.

Textile voile is an aesthetic, technical and strategic medium.
It offers :

Incomparably light, ideal for suspended or mast-mounted displays, even large ones;

Excellent resistance to wind, thanks to its openwork structure which limits wind resistance while ensuring that the visual is legible;

A dynamic visual effect, as the natural movement of the fabric attracts the eye and enhances visibility;

Vibrant colours, achieved through direct sublimation printing;

An economical, practical solution that's easy to deliver, transport, store and reuse.

This medium is a natural choice in all contexts where the message needs to remain legible and visible in outdoor conditions, without rigidity or heavy structural constraints.

Yes, as long as it's carefully designed.

Our sails are printed in France, in our workshops, using polyester textiles selected for their lightness, durability and compatibility with the water-based inks used in sublimation. This solvent-free method is clean and durable.

And because a visual medium also has an end-of-life, we offer collection and recycling solutions, particularly for event textiles. Our eco-designed approach aims to reduce the environmental footprint of your communication projects, without compromising their effectiveness.
