Printing on PMMA / Plexiglass
The transparency that commands respect. When a visual needs to convey a premium feel, nothing beats a rigid transparent support: the brilliance and depth of glass, yet half the weight and unbreakable. From PMMA, the star of high-end decorative and signage panels, to its recycled R-MMA version, and even fire-rated PET-G: three transparencies for creations that capture the light.
PMMA panel
The greenhouse effect, but lighter and freer. Twice as light as glass, PMMA retains all its qualities (strength, durability, brilliance) for high-end decorative and signage panels that play on depth. With direct printing, front or mirror, it offers high resolution and excellent colour rendering, with transparency effects adjustable by multi-layer inking or white backing.
Colourless, translucent or opaque, available in several thicknesses and finishes, it can be drilled, heat-bent or laser-cut, for fine cut-outs and perfectly smooth edges.
Impact, scratch and UV resistant, it's a particularly high-quality stand.

Recycled Plexi Panel R-MMA
The plexi that thinks of tomorrow. The R-MMA recycled plexi panel offers the premium finish of cast acrylic, made from recycled methacrylate: the same transparency and shine, for a reduced environmental impact. Ideal for decoration, space fitting, signage, and high-end POS displays.
In direct printing, it produces sharp and bright visuals. Folding, thermoforming, polishing, milling – it adapts to all your creative ideas. Resistant to impact and UV rays, it retains its optical qualities over time.
Made in Italy, made from recycled materials and 100 % recyclable, it is the responsible alternative to traditional plexiglass.

PET-G panel
Transparency that comes through fire. PET-G 5 mm is one of the few rigid transparent materials to benefit from a fire classification (B-s1,d0): ideal for creating transparent decorative and signage panels, both indoors and outdoors, with complete safety.
Highly resistant to shocks and weather, it is particularly suited for outdoor installations. For direct printing, front or mirrored, it guarantees high resolution and beautiful transparency effects (multi-layer inking, backing white). It can be drilled, heat-bent or laser-cut.

FAQ - Printing on PMMA (Plexiglas): high definition and transparency for spectacular creations
What is printing on PMMA (Plexiglas)?
Printing on PMMA, commonly known as Plexiglas, involves personalising rigid acrylic sheets, renowned for their crystal-clear transparency and excellent resistance. This material combines lightness and strength, offering a unique visual effect thanks to its ability to transmit light.
At EG Print, we use advanced digital printing techniques to ensure accurate, durable, high-definition visuals on custom-cut sheets of different thicknesses. PMMA allows us to create media that captivate with their clarity and elegance, perfect for high-end projects.
How is PMMA used in visual communications?
Plexiglas has a natural place in many applications where transparency and quality are essential:
- Indoor and outdoor signage, including elegant directional and informative plaques,
- Point-of-sale advertising and displays with a premium look,
- Exhibition stands and mock-ups to showcase your creations with a modern, luminous effect,
- Signs and wall cladding that require transparency and strength,
- Diffusing supports for integration in illuminated or backlit devices.
Its smooth, glossy surface brings out colours and details with remarkable finesse.
What are the advantages of printing on PMMA by EG Print?
EG Print combines several areas of expertise to offer you high-quality PMMA media:
- High-definition digital printing with excellent colour fastness on the acrylic surface,
- Precise laser cutting and polishing for impeccable finishes tailored to your formats,
- Impact and UV-resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments,
- Customised fixing and assembly options to make it easier to install your brackets,

This expertise guarantees a finished product that is robust, elegant and impactful.
How does the PMMA printing process work at EG Print?
Your project begins with a precise definition of your requirements: format, thickness, use, quantities.
Our graphics studio will work with you to prepare your files in the best possible conditions. Printing then takes place in our workshops, with strict quality control at every stage.
The plates are cut to size and polished if necessary, ready for delivery or installation according to your preferences. EG Print ensures that your project is managed smoothly and comprehensively.
Is PMMA printing compatible with a responsible approach?
Yes, as far as possible.
We favour materials from responsible suppliers and use inks with a low environmental impact. The intrinsic durability of PMMA means that substrates have a long life, reducing the frequency with which they need to be replaced.
We now offer printing on R-MMA panels: recycled PMMA.
In addition, we work to optimise our processes and offer recycling and reclamation solutions to limit the overall ecological footprint of your projects.
