Tarpaulins
bespoke micro-perforated
Large outdoor displays have a common enemy: the wind. Micro-perforated tarpaulins tackle this problem at source, thanks to their openwork structure which allows air to pass through, reduces wind resistance and enables vast areas to be covered without the risk of tearing or being blown away.
Construction hoardings, scaffolding cladding, large-scale sporting events: EG Print offers two solutions to suit your requirements. High-strength PVC for the most demanding projects, and PVC-free polyester fabric for eco-friendly projects.
PVC mesh tarpaulin
(PVC mesh)
The tear-resistant choice for large outdoor areas. Thanks to its open-weave structure with a PVC coating, the PVC Mesh Banner combines maximum tensile and tear strength with controlled wind resistance. It can be used to cover hoardings, scaffolding and large façades without sagging – even in challenging windy conditions. Its double-sided coating makes it printable on both sides, ideal for event signage offering maximum visibility.
Classified as M1, it can be used both indoors and outdoors. Available in 5-metre widths, it is suitable for high-frequency welding applications: sleeves for street banners, and eyelets on reinforcing strips for tensioning on grids.
Applications : fence or scaffolding wraps, street banners, building signage, outdoor event displays, sporting events...

Green Subli mesh fabric
The eco-friendly solution for large-format outdoor signage. 50% Lighter than PVC mesh tarpaulins, the Green Mesh Fabric (3 m or 5 m) is just as durable when used to cover scaffolding and showcase the colours of outdoor events. Its micro-perforated structure ensures perfectly controlled wind resistance. Printed using sublimation, it offers vibrant colours that remain vivid over time.
Its light weight makes it easy to handle, transport and store – a real advantage when it comes to large-format graphics. Made from PVC-free 100% polyester fibres, it is Oeko-Tex certified and recyclable. With a B-s1,d0 classification, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

FAQ - Micro-perforated tarpaulins: performance and aesthetics for your outdoor equipment
What is a micro-perforated tarpaulin?
The micro-perforated banner is a specially designed material with an open structure, composed of thousands of small holes that allow air to pass through. This design significantly reduces wind resistance, offering better stability and increased resistance to weather, while maintaining a high-quality printable surface.
Thanks to its micro-perforations, this tarpaulin is particularly suitable for large-format outdoor displays, combining durability and aesthetics. It guarantees good visibility even in difficult weather conditions, while limiting the risk of premature wear and tear.
What are the main applications for micro-perforated tarpaulin?
Micro-perforated tarpaulins are a natural choice for projects where visibility and robustness are essential:
- Facade cladding and scaffolding to conceal construction sites,
- Large-format outdoor signage and communication,
- Banners and streamers suspended from masts or urban structures,
- Decoration and dressing of stands or outdoor events,
- Advertising media in areas exposed to wind or difficult weather conditions.
This tarpaulin is therefore the preferred solution when safety, durability and visual impact need to go hand in hand.
What are the advantages of micro-perforated tarpaulin printed by EG Print?
At EG Print, our micro-perforated tarpaulins combine :
- High-quality printing with sharp, long-lasting colours,
- A technical perforated structure for excellent wind resistance,
- A wide print width that makes it easy to produce XXL formats seamlessly,
- Made-to-measure finishes such as reinforced eyelets, hems or sleeves to make fitting easier and guarantee a secure fit,
- Local production in our French workshops, a guarantee of quality control and responsiveness.
This solution guarantees a support that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, perfectly suited to the requirements of outdoor environments.
How is a made-to-measure micro-perforated tarpaulin manufactured?
Your project begins with an in-depth discussion to define your exact requirements: dimensions, visuals, installation conditions.
Our technical team then prepares your files to ensure optimum printing on this type of substrate. The tarpaulin is printed with particular care in our workshops, respecting the specific requirements linked to micro-perforation.
After printing, the tarpaulin is finished to your specifications (eyelets, hems, reinforcement strips). It is then delivered to you ready to install, or we can come to your site to install it if you wish.
Are micro-perforated tarpaulins compatible with a responsible approach?
Yes, perfectly. EG Print is committed to producing in accordance with environmental standards. Our banners are printed with water-based inks, without harmful solvents, and on durable and recyclable materials whenever possible. We offer several eco-responsible Mesh canvases, PVC-free and recyclable.
We also offer solutions for the collection and recycling of end-of-life media, helping to reduce their ecological footprint while ensuring the quality and durability of your communications.
