Contemporary art is coming to Chambord
From 1st May to 4th September, the Château de Chambord Welcome Pablo Reinoso for his exhibition «Overflows» on the theme of harmony between Man and nature.
The artist has chosen to develop their intervention around the idea of an ecosystem, which is particularly prominent in the Chambord estate due to its status as a genuine open laboratory for biodiversity.
In an unprecedented move, Chambord is inviting Pablo Reinoso to spill over onto the façade of the Château with a monumental installation on the scaffolding. The artist is presenting "Entrelacs", a 45 m high work, emblematic of his exploration of Chinese ink painting carried out during his residency at the Domaine.
Expectations
Our subsidiary Felix & Co has printed «Entrelacs,» a work 45m high across 250m² of Mesh fabric. Originally created with Indian ink, it was scanned and then adapted by our DTP department for large-format printing.
The stakes are high, as this is the very first time the Domaine de Chambord has authorised a display on the château! This monumental installation is visible from the French formal gardens of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our teams demonstrated reactivity by deploying the netting in 2 days, whilst respecting the safety measures for the scaffolding structure on a historic monument.
