MIPIM 2023: a greener edition
Each year, the Palais des Festivals in Cannes hosts 50 events, including MIPIM. To reduce the environmental impact of event signage, we produced all the materials using eco-friendly resources.
Balancing responsiveness and eco-responsibility
Le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes receives 50 events each year across 35,000 m² of exhibition space!
As every year, we are present at the MIPIM, the largest international marketplace for real estate professionals, to fully cover the signage and advertising spaces.
To dress the 7 floors of the palace, the outdoor spaces and the large glass roofs, we printed over 5,000 m² in our Nice workshops!
To limit the environmental impact of this event, the signage has been produced on eco-friendly panels.
The entirety was put in place by our captioning teams.
Expectations
The Palais des Festivals accommodates over 20,000 professionals from around the world across its 7 floors for this legendary MIPIM event. We produced and deployed all the signage and advertising displays.
Thanks to our state-of-the-art machinery and our expertise in events of this scale, we have a real striking force that allows us to be responsive to such demand.
The advertising spaces in the palace and on the glass roofs cover more than 3,600 m². Our in-house fitters install, using abseiling techniques, prints on the various glass roofs that are up to 18 m high and 30 m wide. Monumental!
As it is very easy to get lost in this giant maze, the quantity of signage panels and tarpaulins was also very dense. We produced and installed over 1,500 m² of signage elements placed throughout the palace and the accreditation area.
These thousands of square metres of printing and cutting required impeccable logistical preparation and coordination in our workshops. We now know how to put everything in place to respond effectively to projects of this scale.
This monumental project mobilised all our installers for over 48 hours.
A confirmed eco-responsible commitment
Consequently, for indoor signage, we have recommended the only fire-rated honeycomb board currently available. This 100% recyclable, eco-friendly board, sourced from sustainably managed forests, is manufactured using green energy. An ideal solution to replace traditional PVC panels, which are far too polluting.
