Building an XXL stand
An XXL stand
Every 3 years, Intermat, the trade fair for sustainable solutions and technologies for construction, brings together 200,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.
We are proud to have completed the stand Volvo Construction Equipment, an exceptional project of 1,500 m2, overlooked by a monumental sign, 50 metres long!
Expectations
The design and engineering office Square 13 entrusted us with the creation of the Volvo CE stand, a 1,500 m² event space.
For the 2024 edition, the brand wanted to make a splash to unveil its new electric and hydrogen construction vehicles.
To highlight the client's sustainable commitment, we built the stand using modular, reusable aluminium structures, finished with black-backed fabric printed using textile sublimation (an innovative and eco-friendly technology) in our Print workshops.
Our challenge?
To create an XXL suspended sign, 50 metres long and 2.5m high, incorporating an LED screen measuring 5m wide by 2.5m high, and to have it installed in just one day!
This giant stand offered a vast reception area, as well as meeting rooms and a shop area bordered by glass partitions integrated into our aluminium frames.
We also carried out the custom joinery: reception desk, planters, bar, totems…
In total, nearly 300 aluminium frames were deployed for this project. A superb collaboration from our stand, print, sewing, and video teams!
